Miniature painting: tradition and up-to-dateness

Abstract

The content, stages of historical development of traditional art – miniature painting are analysed in the given article. The formation and development of miniature art is thrown light in connection with the creation of Safavi state in the Middle Ages. At present Azerbaijan and uzbek researchers pay attention to the study of practical creative level of miniature art as well as theoretical problems. Proposals on practical use of traditional creation in contemporary conditions are put forward.
