Manifestation of the architecture of Caucasian Albania in Apsheron reserves

Abstract

The architecture of Caucasian Albania with its compositional -construetive solutions occupies an original place in the formation of the architecture of medieval Azerbaijan. Islamic architecture preserving and developing its traditional building technique was formed on the basis of Caucasian Albania. In the reserves of Apsheron cult, civil and memorial buildings with a) one hall, vaulted; b) central-domed; c) cruciform; d) nave compositional solutions were formed under the influence of Christian architecture.
