About role and today’s state of epigraphic writings on architectural monuments in Azerbaijan

Abstract

Epigraphic inscriptions written in cuneiform, Greek, Roman, Aramaic, Albanian, Pahlavi, Arabic, Persian and Azerbaijani languages with different writing examples, which are met in Azerbaijan and obvious examples of our history, literature culture, are dealt widely in the article. Saving, owning of material cultural monuments, which are heritage for us, and propagating in the international world are our duty and accomplishment of “Epigraphic monuments of Turkic countries” conception is one of the
necessary factors for researching of movable and real historical monuments beyond the current borders of Azerbaijan by Azerbaijani and neighboring countries scientists’ effort in the article. Because, epigraphic monuments are our scientists’ guide, who investigate and research the science of history.
