Mikail Huseynov’s creation, impressed on history

Abstract

Special focus is on academician M.Huseynov’s projects of hotels in the article. The architect was entrusted designing of “Moscow” hotel in 1970. The architect used neoclassical and romantic style on new project, which he used at hotels “Absheron” and “Azerbaijan”. Hotels “Absheron” and “Azerbaijan” were replaced with ive-star hotels “Marriott” and “Hilton” in connection with reconstructive works, which were carried out in Azerbaijan during period of independence. Replacement of the hotel “Moscow” with complex “Flame towers” fell on 2012. Mikail Huseynov’s another heritage – his summer residence – passed into the wrong hands after his death, who destroyed and replaced with new construction.
