Main stages of academician M.Huseynov’s creative work

Abstract

The article, dedicated to the founder of Azerbaijani architectural school in the twentieth century - Mikail Huseynov’s creative work, states about examples of his more prominent works. Works of complex construction in Neftchiler avenue, the buildings in the town of Academy of Sciences, ensemble of Azadlig Square, Nizami cinema, other public and residential buildings are considered
here. Especially M.Huseynov’s merits are emphasized in the development of town-building art.
