Eastern miniature of Middle Ages as information source of Azerbaijani medieval palace dance

Abstract

Eastern miniature of Middle Ages, in particular Azerbaijani school of miniatures is inexhaustible source of information not only historical events, life of that time, also suits, dance, music and etc. Movements of palace dancers, dervishes, etc. are represented so expressively and deinitely, that according to these images, with attraction of corresponding music, also written descriptions, it is possible to recreate characteristic medieval dances in reality.
