Development tendencies of Azerbaijan cinema in the years of independence

Abstract

In the article the tendencies of development of the Azerbaijan cinema in the years of independence are investigated. The author notes that since the Azerbaijani Soviet viewing screen was part of Soviet cinema for 70 years, he fulilled the requirements of socialist realism. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, a number of changes took place in the Azerbaijani cinema in the sphere of education of national personnel, creation of new studios, ilms outside the state budget, etc. But, despite this, Azerbaijan cinema still depends on the state budget.
