Decorative-inishing materials and facing methods applied in the architecture of Orient Anatolia and Nakhchivan during period of Seljuk

Abstract

All type of constructive masonry and decorative­facing materials, also methods for their use in the construction of architectural structures in Eastern Anatolia and Nakhchivan during period of Seljuk are presented in the article. Comparative analysis carried out between the famous architectural monuments of the two historical regions gives opportunity to identify and differentiate the compositional methods, which were used in the inishing of their facade surfaces, also interior structures.
