Genocide as a historical phenomenon

Abstract

The concept of genocide, characterized as gravest international crime against humanity is considered and dealt with known tragic crimes in the history, which were accepted and considered as genocide by the international communities in the article. Facts of genocide in history of Azerbaijani people, related to crimes in 1918­-1920s, Khojaly tragedy are noted.
