Memorial monument complex dedicated to political elite of Azerbaijan who died in 1991

Abstract

In the article it was given a brief history about helicopter crash happened near Garakend village of Khojavend region on November 20, 1991, one of the biggest and most terrible tragedies during the independence period of Azerbaijan and dealt with monument complex erected in cherished memory of social and political igures of Azerbaijan, who died in the accident and reached the summit of martyrdom. This memorial complex was built in the Alley of Honor in 1992 and carrying out of each portrait was ordered to different sculptors.
