Zemira Safarova as a propagandist of music on radio and television

Abstract

Honored Art and Science Figure, active member of ANAS Zemira Safarova is the irst researcher of ancient musical science. She studied the legacy of such thinkers as Saiyaddin Urmavi, Abdulgadir Maraghai, Mirza Bay, M.M. Navvab and from the 13th century brought their works to the musical society of the 20th century. This activity from the ield of research makes her a propagandist of music. So, the prominent scientist regularly appeared on the radio and television of Azerbaijan. In this sense, we can note the TV documentary “In the World of Music” prepared by us together with Zemira Safarova on Azerbaijan Television (2007, scriptwriter Saadat Tahmirazkyzy), on the Azerbaijani radio “World of Uzeir”, “World of Music”, “Radio Journal - The World of Music “ and a number of similar programs.
