Ornament as a brand of Azerbaijani history and culture on souvenir items

Abstract

The brightest monument of any national culture is a rich ornamental heritage, materialized in numerous works of decorative art. In folk ornamentation, the most signiicant ornamental themes and compositions arose not as a result of a formal combination of elements and random play by forms, but were originally a speciic expression of the most signiicant social notions and concepts. “Almost all the ornamental patterns were” read “in due time in a very speciic way. Now the meaning of many ornamental motifs is partially lost. But they are visually preserved and developing continue to be successfully depicted in souvenir products of Azerbaijan.
