Cultural policy in modern Russia: the conditions, problems and trends of development

Abstract

The article examines in a conceptual and methodological way the state and trends of the state cultural policy of the Russian Federation, gives its normative and legal characteristics, analyzes the main models of cultural policy, identiies and emphasizes the speciics of Russia. The author notes that the sphere of culture, being the most important foundation and resource for the development of the country, makes it possible to construct normative values of a model that, in modern conditions, can play the role of an ideological platform in the strategic plans of state construction. And cultural policy, both theoretically and in practical terms, has a key role to play in this regard. In conclusion, the prospective areas for improving cultural policy are formulated.
