Abstract

Gara Garayev’s rich scientiic-publicistic heritage – papers, reviews, reports, speeches, interviews, thoughts and relections about important problems of art – nationalities, national, international, traditions, innovation and etc. give him full right to occupy an honourable place of the great scientistthinker in the musical science of Azerbaijan. The analysis and study by the artist of many important problems of art make up a valuable conception of the scientist which is considered in the given article. Gare Garayev’s scientiic-publicistic activity played an enormous role in the devopment of soviet and in particular Azerbaijan music art and became a valuable contribution to the history of musical thought.
