Problems of Suleyman Sani Akhundov's children's literature creativity

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the study of the rich heritage of Suleyman Sani Akhundov, an Azerbaijani playwright, prose writer, educator, and one of the writers who played an exceptional role in the formation of children's literature. In the research work, the themes of moral and ethical education, enlightenment, and raising children as useful citizens to society were analyzed in the writer's works. The author of the article studied in detail the ideas of justice, mercy, hard work, and humanism, which constitute the leading line in the creativity of S.S.Akhundov's children's literature. It was brought to the attention that the writer's series “Frightening tales” was selected for its educational impact, taking into account the subtleties of child psychology. The author of valuable
examples of Azerbaijani prose, the author of the socio-economic and cultural problems of the time, presented artistically and in terms of ideological content, in accordance with the worldview of children, was comprehensively commented on. It is scientifically substantiated that the synthesis of national-moral values and educational traditions clearly manifests itself in his creative work, aimed at developing the spiritual world, life and ability of children to love humanity. It is once again confirmed that the works of S.S.Akhundov are considered a valuable heritage not only from an artistic-aesthetic point of view, but also from a pedagogical and psychological aspect. The importance and novelty of the topic of this research work, which examines the problematics of the writer's creative work, reflecting his original activity in the field of children's literature, is brought to mind.
