Examples of Turkman Oral Literature

Abstract

The article provides detailed information about valuable examples of Iraqi-Turkmen folklore. The study of genre similarities of both Azerbaijani oral folk literature and Turkmen folk literature by prominent researchers is also noteworthy. It has been confirmed for many years that both peoples have the same ancestry and traditions. The history, past, national, and moral values are what make a nation influential and valuable. Proverbs, ancestral sayings, and tales that are examples of Turkmen folklore are indicators of how deep and ancient the history of this people is.
