“Epics about various batirs” in the epic cyclization about forty batirs

Cyclization of epics have not been widely studied to this day. Despite the fact that such epics as the Uzbek version of the Koroglu epic, the Kyrgyz Manas epic, the Karakalpak Tulumbi epic, etc. form a series, there are no detailed studies about it. This issue is actually related to the lack of in-depth study of the main essence of the cycle.
The cyclizatioan of epics about Forty batyrs includes four more large-scale cycles: “Anshibay and his descendants”, “Karadon and his descendants”, “Kidirbay and his descendants” and “Epics about various batirs”. Sometimes, the cycles “Kidirbay and his descendants” is mistakenly attributed to “Epics about various batirs”.
In fact, each of the heroes of the epic about the Forty Batirs belongs to the genealogy of Edigey, the founder of the Nogai Horde, a commander whose name is inscribed in golden letters in the history of the Golden Horde. Therefore, the main link of the genealogy is the epic “Edigey”, which was created precisely about him. This means that all heroic epics created in the Middle Ages in the Golden Horde and in the period before the collapse of the subsequent Hordes (the Great Horde, the Nogai Horde, etc.) are included in this series.
It should be noted that the epic texts included in the series “Epics about various Batirs” have been studied separately by scholars.
