TOPONYMS OF THE KALININO DISTRICT

Abstract

The preservation of relevant information about the history, geographical boundaries, culture, and national-ethnic values of every nation is of particular importance in the field of toponymy. Toponyms, which provide a clear and comprehensive understanding of the history of our language and the ethnogenesis of our people, serve as an important object of modern linguistic research, enabling the identification of linguistic and cultural characteristics in unity with geographical and historical contexts. In this regard, the study of the toponyms of Western Azerbaijan has special theoretical and practical significance.
