    Abstract

    The article is devoted to onomastic units formed in a syntactic way in film
    language.
    It is noted that the syntactic method is called analytical word formation. Thatis, here two or more words are combined in different ways, forming a complex lexical unit.
    In the course of the study, it turns out that the phenomenon of onomastic
    language is manifested in all groups of special names: anthroponyms, toponyms,hydronyms, cosmonyms, ktematonyms.
    The article points out that onomastic units formed in a syntactic way are
    divided into two groups: those formed by a purely syntactic order and those formed by a syntactic morphological order.
    Associated with purely syntactically formed: root + root model, root + root +
    root model, root + root + root model; formed in the syntactic morphological order:
    root + root + imager, root + imager + root, root + root + imager + imager;
    root+root+root+photographer, root+photographer+root+photographer.
    An analysis of the process of word formation in onomastic vocabulary shows that the phenomenon of derivation is less common here than in vernacular.
    The article uses relevant scientific and artistic works, monographs. Examples from various feature films demonstrate the artistic, scientific and aesthetic power of research.
