CORPUS LINGUISTICS AND CONCORDANCE: METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES AND NEW APPLICATIONS

Abstract

This article examines the key concepts of modern corpus linguistics, particularly the application of concordance and collocation analysis, and their role in studying scientific discourse and poetic texts. It has been established that the development of corpus linguistics should be carried out along side the creation of national corpora, automatic text processing, and the integration of artificial intelli gence technologies. The extensive use of concordance and collocation methods in scientific discourse, media, and poetic text analysis can contribute to the development of new methodological approaches in Azerbaijani linguistics.
