THE ROLE OF REPETITIONS IN TEXT FORMATION

In recent years, text linguistics has become one of the leading fields of linguistics. The article examines the role of lexical repetitions in text creation. Cohesion in linguistics is considered as a set of means that connect the components of the text. The action of synonymous and antonymic lines in the creation of simple and semantic repetitions is investigated. Repetitions, which are used in writing and provide cohesion of text parts, actually serve to complete the text parts as a structure. The element of repetition appears within the paragraph, but can also be observed in other parts of the text or the verse.
