WAYS OF EXPRESSING TENSIONAL CATEGORIES IN THE PARTICIPLES (BASED ON THE LANGUAGE OF THE ELECTRONIC MEDIA)

Abstract

The electronic media, which is strengthening its influence in the media environment day by day, also promote the norms of the modern Azerbaijani literary language. The fact that language rules can accurately reflect the situation of practical application, especially the processes occurring in the grammatical layer of the language, characterizes it as an important source.

The article explains ways to express the category of time in participles. Participle suffixes are grouped into all three tenses, taking into account their structural and semantic differences. The features of their use in the language of the media have been studied. The correct and appropriate use of participle suffixes is characterized as one of the basic requirements of the grammatical norm. All examples involved in the analysis in the article were selected from the language of electronic media.
