EMERGENCE AND HISTORICAL ORGANIZATION OF THE CONCEPT OF MORPHEME IN THE AZERBAIJAN LANGUAGE

Abstract

This article provides general information about the concept of
morpheme and its formation in the Azerbaijani language. The importance
and role of morphemes in word creation is brought to attention. It is
emphasized that affixal morphemes have special importance in the process
of word building.
