EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE NATIVE LANGUAGE AND SPEECH

In connection with the preparation of new textbooks of the Azerbaijani language for students of
educational institutions, a number of projects were presented for public discussion. The article
analyzes the state of one of these projects - the textbook “Azerbaijani language” (grade 7), prepared
jointly by Rafik Ismailov, Aуnur Rustamova, Hidayat Allahverdi and Sahiba Mammadova. The texts
and tasks included in the textbook are flawed both in terms of content and grammar, layout and
printing.
