POETIC SHADES OF BAYATI SYNTAX

Abstract

Along with the richness of linguistic facts, full, but very concise expression of thought, very
interesting sentence structures are manifested in the bayaties of Azerbaijan. The sentence types created by the people centuries ago, their structures and the echo of the linguistic facts of the period of
their creation with modern linguistic facts attracts attention in a small passage consisting of four
hemistiches and twenty eight syllables. Bayati reflecting different types of sentence structures proves
how invaluable is the role of ancient folk linguistics as a source for modern Azerbaijani linguistics.
Unaware of the grammatical rules of the language, the people composed all types of sentences including from smaller lyrical fragments to more complex constructions and created their various types.
The article examines the ways of purposeful use of language means in the context of bayati, their
internal dynamics, colorful and rich subtleties of meaning from the linguistic-poetic point of view.
