THE LINGUISTIC PROBLEMS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Abstract

The creation of artificial intelligence system, its essence, applied fields, importance, perspectives
of development, point of contact with other scientific fields, relation with linguistics, especially with
corpus linguistics is researched in the article. Aim of the science of artificial intelligence is the creation of artificial systems that can imitate human mind, thought, mentality and brain. The sciences as
Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Physiology, Biotechnology, Computer Sciences, Neurophysiology,
Psychology, Philosophy, Logistics, Linguistics, Economy and etc. play an important role in the formation of artificial intelligence as the science.
One of the most important fields of artificial intelligence considers natural language processsing.
The issues realized in the field of formal analysis of text, processing of natural text, machine translation, searching of information according to formal signs, research of historical monuments and language of classics by the mathematical-statistical methods, compiling of statistical dictionaries, development of electronic dictionaries are considered the object of research of the corpus linguistics. Corpus
linguistics studies the issues of creation of information retrieval systems that directed to the collecting
of texts represented the concrete language in the electronic format and usage of them in the process of research. The relations of issues of the computational and corpus linguistics with the systems of artificial intelligence and the perspectives of study of them in that context are researched in the article.
