SEMANTIC-STYLISTIC ROLE OF SOMATISMS IN SYNONYMY

Abstract

At the present stage of development of the Study of linguistics, the research of lexical structure of a poetic work
became more perspective. In this respect, it becomes the object of great interest to study the lexical-semantic groups,
which include somatism. This article focuses on linguistic analysis of semantiс- stylistic role of the most used somatisms in synonymy. The target of this research is to define the role of somatisms in structure-semantic composition of
the text. As a result of the analysis, structure-semantic and stylistic features of somatisms were derived, areas of its use
in the construction of poetic figures and idioms were revealed. The research is based on poetry of persian-languaged
Azerbaijani poets, such as Nizami Ganjavi, Khaqani, Mehseti Ganjavi, Saib Tabrizi and etc.
