SCIENTIFIC STYLE AND THE PROCESS OF TERM- FORMATION IN THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

Abstract

In the article is investigated the relationship between scientific style and term creation. Functional style is defined
on the basis of certain common criteria and characteristics of materials written in the same and similar genres. Scientific
style combines the stylistic features of monographs, articles, theses, dissertations, abstracts and other scientific materials. Scientific research, in the process of conducting research, new concepts related to the field are revealed, their existence is confirmed and these concepts are called. As a result, scientific research plays a leading role in enriching field
terminology with new terms. Research based on new terms noted in scientific texts helps to clarify the role of term creation in scientific style. The analysis shows that the methods that manifest themselves in the creation of terms in the scientific style differ in their specific features.
