Each of the five books of the Torah, the holy book of the Jews, is rich in onomastic expressions. If we look at the
onomastic lexicon of the Torah, we can see that there are more anthroponymic and toponymic terms in there. In
particular, the first and second books of the Torah, בראשית ספר - Seyfer Breishit and שמות ספר - Seyfer Shmot, the Greek
and Latin versions of Genesis and Exodus, are very rich in special names. In addition to the names of fathers and sons
listed in these books, the names of their children and grandchildren, the names of the places where the Jewish people
lived and migrated, the names of various rivers, seas, animals, cosmonims and other onomastic expressions. In addition
to all this, the forms of writing some onomastic words in the Torah, modern Hebrew language, Azerbaijani language, as
well as modern Turkish languages are also studied in the article and the derivations of special names in different
languages are studied. The methods and principles of the formation of onomastic expressions in the Torah are also
