The article is dedicated to the theme of the field of compulsion in language. The application of the field method to
the study of language has a great linguistic importance. In this article, the essence of field theory in linguistics is explained on the basis of the views of different linguists. After this, the study is directed to the compulsion macro-field which
consists of several micro-fields. According to the various linguists, it is noted that when the leading structural element
of a field is a morphological category, such fields are called monocentric and strongly centralized by the type of the
structure, and the center or core of such a field is a morphological category, its structural order is simple and clear. The
article states that such an approach to the field of compulsion is not possible. Because the structure of the field of compulsion is incomplete and its constitutions are disorderly and vaguely. Its reason is the lack of a grammatical center. Although there is a means of grammatical expression of the notion of compulsion in the language, the article states that this
grammatical means of expression does not form the center of the field of compulsion. In addition, the article discusses
the lexical semantic micro-field of compulsion. The concept of semantic field is explained. At the same time, the article
shows the characteristics of the center-peripheral structure and the center and periphery of the lexical-semantic field of
compulsion. The prototype of the lexical-semantic category formed by this field is also clarified.
