Abstract

In the article, migration movements, Mongolian and Russian invasions, which are among the non-linguistic factors
in the dialectology studies of Turkic-speaking peoples, are mentioned, and considering the fact that ethnic formations
and linguistic communities do not overlap one-to-one, the Ogur-Oghuz and Oghuz-Qipchak-Qarluk unions are reminded that the unions of the ogur-type dialects are not closed but constantly changing entities. It has been stated that until
the thirteenth century, Turkish had two distinct [western] ogur - [eastern] oguz-type writing traditions, and that after the
thirteenth century, two separate, eastern oghuz and western oguz traditions continued, and only the eastern oghuz tradition had a continuity with the former one. It is known that the imperialist powers tried to destroy the eastern writing
