Abstract

Dialects and accents of the Azerbaijani language are also rich in homonym - dialectisms, and these units of speech
can also find an active place in the language of poetry. Homonym - dialectisms are associated with the individual style
of the master of the word and, fully reflecting the local flavor, are a means of regulating the sound range of poetic texts.
In the environment of poetic speech, homonym -dialectisms in an attractive way form idiomatic patterns, are of particular importance in the structural-semantics of the text and satisfy its poetical and stylistic needs. It takes a lot of talent and skills from a word master to have different poetic concepts, events with the same sound composition, combine them
with words expressing different meanings, and turn them into an art board, and in this regard, our word masters take
different positions in the use of homonym-dialectisms.While some of our poets pay great attention to such units of
speech in their works, in others this is hardly observed. The article introduces a homonym - dialectisms as a means of
speech, expanding the poetic capabilities of the poetic language, and, by the way, the correspondence of these lexical
units in common Turkic languages is considered.
