“KITABI-DADA GORGUD” AS A SOURCE OF STUDY PRE-WRITTEN AZERBAIJANI LITERARY LANGUAGE

Abstract

Pre-written Azerbaijani literary language, its one or another linguistic features have been little studied up to the
present day. There are objective and subjective reasons for this. The objective reasons are that we have very few sources
that reflect that period. Subjective reasons are the lack of purposeful study of the language features of that period.
The article provides information about different levels of pre-written Azerbaijani literary language on the basis of
rich linguistic features on the basis of the materials of the epos "Kitabi-Dada Gorgud". In addition, the materials we
have identified on the basis of other available sources are compared with the examples of the "Epic", comparisons are
made and, where appropriate, the results are commented.
