Abstract

In the article, for the first time, pronouns and their types in the language of
Azerbaijanian Tats are involved in a comparative study. Comparisons have been made with
individual Tat dialects and accents, as well as with other Iranian languages, including
Avesta, Sanskrit etc., similar and different aspects have been revealed. The fact that the use
of the demonstrative pronoun in the function of the third person pronoun observed in
ancient Iranian languages and Persian language being also characteristic of the Lahij dialect
of the Tat language is reflected in the research. As in the Azerbaijani language, the
demonstrative pronouns in the Tat language have cases as nouns. It is noted that
demonstrative pronouns are used in a slightly different phonetic structure from other
Iranian languages. Although enclitics are a morphological category, they play an important
role in the formation of the syntactic structure of the language.
