Abstract

The article shows the reflection of the people's ancient history, economic and political
life, everyday life, ethnography, mythology and many other areas in ethnotoponyms derived from tribal names, and it is clarified that place-country names derived from tribe,
dash, generation, clan names are more important than toponyms from other groups. it is
ancient.
Historically, any ethnos has entered and settled in any territory, without a doubt, it has
given its name to that territory and thus left its deep traces in the toponymy of that region.
On the territory of Georgia there are many oikonyms formed on the basis of the names of
the Turkic tribes, and most of these oikonyms are ethnotoponyms.
Historical facts proves that, tribe, generation,crew names in the Turkish etnotoponims
that take part in the Caucasus peoples’ ethnogenesis which are in the territory of Georgia,
are still protected in the mountain, hill, field, lake, river, spring names. Toponyms were
created in connection with the history of our nation. Researchers have always focused on
the great importance of toponyms in the history, language, and origin of the people.
