Abstract

Nonnormative communicative behavior is a type of behavior that violates accepted
norms. The study of texts containing conflicting speech makes it possible to supplement the
picture of the orientations of modern society by analyzing the linguistic features associated
with the implementation of the function of managing the attention, judgments and behavior
of the public. One of the manifestations of the increasing role of compromise speech is the
emergence of the concept of «political correctness». The political correctness of the
vocabulary is based on the tendency to rise, neutralization of the generic attribute,
descriptive way of designation, metonymic shift.
