This article investigates the role of presupposition in communication and its impact on the perception of information by interlocutors. Presupposition, implied or
implicitly assumed information, is a key element in constructing effective speech
influence. The author analyzes the mechanisms of forming and using presuppositions, their functions in various communicative contexts, and their influence on the
interpretation of statements. The article examines examples from everyday and
professional speech, demonstrating how presuppositions can guide and alter audience perception, facilitating the achievement of specific communication goals.
Special attention is given to the strategic application of presuppositions in different
discourses.
