Abstract

The article deals with the theoretical concepts of different schools of linguistics. The study of the
theoretical provisions of the "Petersburg School", the linguistic concept of the Moscow School, the
concept of the Prague Functional School, the linguistic concept of the American school of descriptivism, the linguistic concept of Danish structuralism, the linguistic concept of French structuralism.
Research and scientific and methodological research in various areas of linguistics began to be more
systematic, a number of scientific studies on all aspects of the language - phonological, morphological, lexical, syntactic - entered a new stage both in qualitative and quantitative terms. At the same time, the scientific and theoretical provisions of the leading schools of world linguistics are used.
