REFLECTION OF REALITY IN DISCOURSE

Abstract

In recent years, the number of articles devoted to linguistic and psychological problems of
language is growing rapidly. Because they already accept and confirm that language is a linguistic and
psychological phenomenon. In this article, on the one hand, the linguistic and psychological nature of
the discourse is described, and on the other hand, the possibilities of reflecting reality in the discourse
are studied. When explaining and commenting on all these questions, reference is made to the initial
criteria and norms of cognitive linguistics, as well as to the theory of linguistic-psychological unity,
which is one of the newest theories created in this direction.
