THE ACTIVITY OF HUSEYN JAVID FOR A COMMON LITERARY LANGUAGE

Abstract

Starting from the beginning of the century, Istanbul, where Huseyn Javid studied, had the status of
a prestigious center where the problems of culture, language, alphabet, and education of the Turkish
people were solved in every respect. İt is especially important to note that the environment of Istanbul
played a big role in the life of Huseyn Javid and in determining the way of ideas. Starting from the
first period of his creativity, the poet really tried to skillfully bring the Turkish language closer to the
literary language of Azerbaijan. Javid tried to create a common bridge between these two Turkish languages, to shorten the distance between these languages by breaking down some kind of artificial barriers. Javid tried to create a common bridge between these two Turkic languages and reduce the distance between these languages, as if to break the artificial barriers.
