THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE LEXICAL-SEMANTIC SYSTEM IN AZERBAIJANI LITERARY LANGUAGE OF THE 13TH-16TH CENTURIES.

Abstract

The 13th-16th centuries are periods of Azerbaijani literature and Azerbaijan literary language with
a wide content. This content was created by Nasimi, Gazi Burhaneddin, Awhadi, Sheikh Kasim,
Anwar, Hakhiri, Shams, Assar Tabrizi, Kishvari, Habibi, Sururi, Khatai and others.
Historically, language is a great system of systems. The fact that language is a system has a long
history in the linguistic tradition. Linguistic system is the interaction of language units with each
other. This relationship is a single whole, that is, organization. “Languages system is the internal
organization of language units and its parts. Each unit of the language enters the system as a part of
the whole, it is connected with other units and parts of the language system directly and indirectly
through language categories. The language system is complex and multifaceted in terms of structure,
function, usage and development”.
The lexical-semantic system of the language occupies an important place among other systems.
This system is naturally “open”, and allows to change specific units, to choose lexical units with
different origin and different means of formation. In addition, the lexical-semantic system of the language is directly related to various fields of communication (description of the internal and external
structure of the language). There are specific categories of that system and they are defined according
to a large number of meaning bases. A branch of this system is the lexical-semantic field. The lexicalsemantic field is a system of parts of speech in which various lexical-semantic associations interact.
The relation of semantic consistency occupies a leading place in this system.
