COMMUNICATIVE METHODS IN TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract

In the article «On the use of modern methods to develop oral speech in the teaching of the
French language», the reforms carried out in the field of education from Azerbaijan and as a result of
this, the removal of old, ineffective methods and the use of new, modern, innovative methods are
taking place. The author shows that the communicative, interactive methods currently used by foreign
language teachers to develop oral speech during teaching give very good results and students are able
to speak in the language they learn.
