Abstract

The history of any place's name goes back to ancient times. People are attracted to the area by
its relief structure, flora and fauna, etc. named after The names of places in our language are formed
as a result of people's understanding of the world around them. According to the size and smallness of
the area, toponyms are divided into 2 groups: macrotoponyms and microtoponyms. Macrotoponyms
refer to the names of large geographical objects. Microtoponyms (small place-names that are not
recorded on maps and are used in a narrow syntagmatic context (in the speech of the population living
in a certain area). Such onims (small mountain, valley, hill, steppe, plain, gobo, yurt, place, road,
gully, slope, mane , neighborhood, trail, bridge, cliff, cliff, ruin, cemetery, small river, spring, lake,
pond, mound, clearing, meadow, winter garden, hearth, pier, shrine, tomb, garden, passage, etc.)
characteristic of objects determines its characteristics. Then the nomination process is carried out. At
this time, various methods can be used. There are characteristic methods and means of the nomination
process. The emergence of any geographical object manifests itself as a result of certain historical
events, and the geomorphological structure of the place is also taken as a basis.
