Abstract

The article is devoted to the composition of names in the language of cinema. Compositions of
nouns are b compounds in which the keyword is expressed by nouns or any substantive word.
According to the research carried out in the article, noun phrases in the Azerbaijani language, as
well as in other Turkic languages, are formed in two ways: analytically and syntactically. Analytically
formed noun compounds do not use a special suffix. Syntactically formed compounds have special
suffixes.
According to research, noun phrases are conventionally divided into two parts. 1. Certain
phrases. 2. Noun connections not included in the designation of connection tolerances. The first type
of definition does not use any grammatical and morphological features in the formation of word
combinations. The second definition is that the sides of phrases are not separated from each other and
together they form a complex part of the sentence. The third type of definition is formed by the first
part of the phrase with the suffix of ownership, the second side with the suffix of ownership.
The article says that in the modern Azerbaijani language, these forms of combination are used
relatively little, and in the same sense the first type of phrases is called such compounds as an iron
door, a stone wall, a silver spoon, a golden belt.
The article uses linguistic works, artistic sources and film fragments.
