SEMANTIC NUANCES OF WORDS AND PHRASES, SIGNIFYING THE CONCEPT OF «DEATH»

The article describes the words and phrases associated with the concept of «death» and used in a
neutral style. The derivation of the word «death» in Azerbaijani language is especially rich. The
article gives 500 synonyms for the word «death», in which the main part is made up of phrases. They
are grouped and illustrated with examples from the works of Azerbaijani writers and poets. Synonyms
used in language have stylistic coloring, shades of meaning, create an emotional mood and summarize
the idea in the text. This is clearly seen in the examples.
