ON THE SYSTEMIC ORGANIZATION OF THE PAREMIOLOGICAL FUND OF THE AZERBAIJANI LANGUAGE (BASED ON PROVERBS)

Abstract

The article considers a set of arguments related to the confirmation of the systemic structure of
the paremiological fund of the language. It is usually emphasized that the paremiological fund is in a
microsystem-macrosystem relationship with the general lexical and grammatical structure of the
language. In our opinion, this relationship should be considered as the relationship of two parallel
systems. In this sense, our main arguments are the following: a) paremiological units can be included
in the system of semasiological “paradigms” (synonymy, antonymy, etc.); b) their functioning in the
sphere of systematic and occasional forms; c) these units may include a speech acts system
(constative, commissive, performative, directive, etc.); d) the ability of these units to act in a system of
relations within the model (variant-invariant, dominant-non-dominant, etc.).
