In the 21st century, the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity, the wide dissemination of relevant knowledge in society, and the synchronization and improvement of research in the field of science and education, including the acceleration of interdisciplinary integration on a global scale, are incredibly relevant and of great importance for humanity. The article is devoted to the state of the study of the flora of Azerbaijan in a changing environment in recent decades, the main development directions and trends of scientific research, as well as some problems of the integration of science and education in accordance with modern challenges.
