The article deals with the recognition of Azerbaijan as a country between East and West with its multicultural traditions and tolerance. Speaking about the activities of the Azerbaijani people in the country and the international community to promote and popularize the traditions of tolerance and restore tolerance after the restoration of independence, the article provides extensive information about the work done in this direction. set of non-derivative values. Azerbaijan has historically been a place where representatives of different nations and religions live in peace and friendship. Also, the preservation in our country of Christian historical monuments, Albanian churches, synagogues, Or-thodox, and Catholic churches, and our care and attention to them, is a clear example of tolerance. Also, a number of international events organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation led to the recog-nition of our republic as a tolerant country in the world. The country's leadership regularly meets with leaders of religious communities, asks about their needs and problems, and congratulates the Chris-tian and Jewish communities of the country on major religious holidays. For this reason, at all times and today, regardless of the socio-political structure, people who speak different languages and rep-resent different religions live as one family in peace, tranquility, and mutual understanding. Today, Azerbaijan is recognized in the world as a country committed to the principles of humanism, toler-ance,e, and multiculturalism. The fact that our republic has been at the crossroads of many different civilizations and cultures for centuries, playing the role of a bridge between Asia and Europe, has determined the diversity of cultures here. Today, there is no alternative to tolerance in Azerbaijan. Therefore, from the point of view of moral values, it is a matter of pride that our country has become a leader in this area and is recognized in the world as a tolerant country. Modern Azerbaijan is com-mitted to these traditions, and this is one of our greatest assets.
