Current State of Azerbaijani-Israeli Relations

Abstract

The history of Azerbaijani-Israeli relations goes back several decades, but it has acquired new shades and transitioned to other stages based on the political events that have taken place over the years. The Jewish community living in Azerbaijan has an important role in the development of these relations. Israel, which has a very active role in America, closely helps the Azerbaijani lobby, which is one of the main aspects of the development of these relations. In the article, the main branches of the development of Azerbaijani-Israeli relations during 2023 are studied. It should be noted that the basis of these relations is the attack on the embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran at the beginning of this year, the opening of the embassy of Azerbaijan in Tel Aviv in the spring of 2023, bilateral visits of officials, as well as the Israeli-Palestinian war that began in the fall of this year. The course of events worries and keeps in view both political experts and the people of both countries.
