China-Russian Relations: History, Problems and Perspectives

Abstract

The history of Chinese-Russian relations for more than 300 years. Throughout the long period the foreign relations policy has constantly had a great influence on the security sphere of the region. For many long years Russia has been an important factor in the political stafility of China, especial-ly on its north-western border. Being the states of the communist bloc, they were mostly in un-friendly relations and mutual claims.
The dynamics of global processes are forcing China and Russia to reconsider their relations and become allies in opposition to the political pressure of European countries and the USA.
